Exchange or Return of Goods

At Hamid Baklava, we strive to provide our customers with the highest-quality desserts prepared fresh daily. However, we understand that unexpected situations may occur. Below you will find our policy regarding the exchange or return of goods.

Exchange or Return of Goods

For non-perishable items such as gift boxes, accessories, or packaged products with long shelf life, the customer has the right to withdraw from the distance contract within 14 days from the date of purchase.

To maintain this right, the customer must ensure that the product is preserved in its original, unused condition. If the product has been damaged through no fault of the customer, this does not deprive them of the right to request a refund. If the packaging has been opened solely for inspection, this does not automatically prevent a return request.

Important Note for Perishable Food Products

Since our desserts — including baklava, pastries, cheesecakes, and Turkish delights — are fresh, perishable food items, these products cannot be returned or exchanged once opened, consumed, or damaged after delivery.

Returns are accepted only if:

  • The product arrived incorrect,
  • The product arrived damaged,
  • Or the product arrived in poor quality due to factors beyond the customer’s control.

In such cases, customers must contact us within 24 hours of receiving their order.

Products Cannot Be Returned If Any of the Following Are Missing:

  • Original packaging (if applicable)
  • Proof of purchase
  • All included items or accessories
  • Clear photo/video evidence of the defect or issue (for food products)

For non-food items:

Official report describing the defect (if required by product category)

Warranty card (if applicable)
